Pixlromatic

First time using the iPad to do the photo editing, this is the first app that use to edit my photo - Pixlromatic. Even though it doesn't have many advance feature, I can only apply the preset filter, the frame, and add another preset overlay on it, but the overall user experience is enjoyable. I can use my new iPad to do simple photo editing and blogging on the go now !

Women and Dreams: Kodak Ektar 100

Beautiful Kodak Ektar 100 colour! I just came across 4 film simulation software: http://www.dslr-guru.com/filmfx-pro.html, http://visualsupply.co/film/details/STANDARD-01/, http://www.niksoftware.com and http://www.dxo.com/intl/photo/filmpack/what_is_dxo_filmpack. But seems that they do not have the Kodak Ektar 100 film simulation package, do you know any where i can get 4the simulation software for Kodak Ektar 100. BTW, one more question, what camera are you using for this shots?

Macro shooting from Samsung Galaxy S2

Had a stroll downstairs my house and suddenly have the impulse to take some shot from my Samsung Galaxy S2 camera. I take few flowers shots shown below, the first photo didn't focus on the subject that i wanted, the background is in focus. This is probably due to the camera is too close to the subject.

For the photo below, i just "tap to focus" the flower, the flower is now in focus.

For the third shot, i set the camera SCN setting to "Text" since there is no "macro" mode for the default camera application. It's given much better color and saturation than the default mode. The background blur is quite decent for this kind of mobile phone camera.
